1 Year Fellowship Program

IADI welcomes you to join this 20-day, 5-sessionprogram where not only you will be able to get a minimum of 160 CE Credits, but you will also become a Fellow of IADI.

This program includes more than 250 combined hours of Webinars, Live Lectures, Hands-on Training and Live Surgery Demonstrations/Opportunities, all performed in our facilities in San Diego, CA.

All sessions will include Hands-on Training performed by the attendees, and Live Surgery Demonstrations performed by the faculty.

 The students will also have the opportunity to perform surgeries on live patients for an additional fee of $1,000 per implant placed – California license required.

Course participants are encouraged to bring their own casesfor discussion and are able to work on their patients with the assistance of the faculty.

Program

1st Session: Level 1 Comprehensive Implantology Course & Guided Surgery

October 31st- November 3rd, 2019

Topics covered include: Anatomy; Biomaterials; Bone Physiology and Density; Soft Tissue Analysis; Diagnosis and Treatment Plan for Implantology; Risk Factors; Periodontal Disease; Radiology; Patient Evaluation and Selection; Preparing a Surgical Room; Implementing Sterilization, Disinfection and Universal Precaution Procedures; Implant Selection; Implant Placement Step-by-step; Implant Positioning; Computer-Assisted Technology for Diagnosis and Treatment Planning; Guided Surgery; Basics of Suturing; IV Sedation.

Hands-on pig jaw and typodonts. Surgeries on live patients performed by faculty or students (for an additional fee of $1,000 per implant).

2nd Session: Sinus Bone Augmentation and Ridge Spit and Bone Block Course

January 17-19th, 2020

Topics covered include: Sinus Lift – Crestal and Lateral Approach; Alveolar Ridge Augmentation; Nerve Repositioning; Nerve Bypass; Socket Shield/Root Membrane Technique.

Hands-on pig jaw, pig maxilla and typodonts. Surgeries on live patients performed by faculty or students (for an additional fee of $1,000 per implant).

3rd Session: Mini Implant course, Medical Billing, and annual meeting with Dr. Josh Brower

February 13th-16th, 2020

Topics covered include: Applications and Advantages of Mini-implants; Restoring Mini-Implants; Application of Implants in Orthodontics; Practice Optimization; Medical Billing.

Hands-on pig jaw and typodonts. Surgeries on live patients performed by faculty or students (for an additional fee of $1,000 per implant).

The last day of this session will coincide with IADI’s International Symposium, which includes speakers from all over the world.

4th Session: Implant Complication and Management & Implant Prosthetics

April 23th-26th, 2018

Topics covered include: GBR; Block Graft; Ridge Split; Minimally Invasive Tunneling Oral Surgery for Hard and Soft Tissue; GTR; Harvesting Autogenous Bone; Drawing Blood and Preparing A-PRF and i-PRF; Overview and Analysis of Membranes and Bone Grafting materials currently used; Free Gingival Graft; Connective Tissue Graft.

Hands-on pig jaw and maxilla. Students will be able to practice drawing blood on each other. Surgeries on live patients performed by faculty or students (for an additional fee of $1,000 per implant).

5th Session: Soft Tissue Grafting around Implant and Teeth, MIT Techniques

September 10th-13th, 2020

Topics covered include: 2nd Stage Surgeries; Impression Techniques– Open Tray, Closed Tray, Direct Impression of the Abutment; Digital Intra-Oral Scanning; Restorative Steps for Implant Rehabilitation with Crowns and Bridges; Concepts of Occlusion; Medical Emergencies; Managing Implant Complications.

Hands-on patients. The students will be able to perform 2nd stage surgeries and to take impressions, deliver crowns and bridges with the aid of Dr. Samuel Lee and two Lab Technicians.

All participants will have a 10% discount in other CE Courses provided by IADI and Instruments and Kits sold by IADI.

At the end of the program, students will undergo a 100 questions exam reviewing the contents lectured throughout the program in order to become Fellows of IADI.

About the speaker:

Dr. Samuel Lee is a world-renowned speaker and educator in implant dentistry. He currently holds more than 10 worldwide patents in the dental field.

Dr. Lee received his DDS from UCLA School of Dentistry and his BS in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at UCLA.  Dr. Lee focuses on research and education.  He has obtained his Doctor of Medical Science degree (DMSc) in Oral Biology from Harvard University, and specialty degree in Periodontology from Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Lee’s mission is to simplify and develop better implant surgical approaches.  He is the inventor of Crestal Window Sinus Technique, Bottle Opener Lateral Window Technique, Palatal Implant, and many other innovative surgical techniques.  Currently, he is focusing on development of handheld 3D CT machine, and education in Implant Dentistry.

Refund Policy:  There are limited seats available for this course. Many preparations such as materials, equipment, patient arrangements, and travel arrangements are made for our attendees.  Therefore, there is no refund for this course upon registration.  In case of unforeseen circumstances, the tuition can be transferred to a later date.

International Academy of Dental Implantology is designated as an Approved PACE Program Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry.
